The 2015 fixture dates for the Hampshire Youth Rugby League season have now been finalised.
The league will again use the popular fixture festival format, rather than weekly home and away games and will base the season on three regular season rounds, followed by a fourth 'play-off' round.
The play-offs will determine the champions and lead into a three game State of Origin style test series, featuring the best players from each age group. This will be known as the Hampshire Youth Origin Series.
The Hampshire Youth Origin Series will itself lead into the Hard Rock Cafe London Origin Series for which four HYRL players were selected in 2014.
The final league structure will not be known for a while yet as we contiunue to attempt to attract new teams but the fixture dates will be as follows:

Training 1: Thursday 2nd July
Game 1: Sunday 5th July
Training 2: Thursday 9th July
Game 2: Sunday 12th July
(ahead of Oxford RL v Keighley Cougars).
Training 3: Thursday 16th July
Game 3: Sunday 19th July
All friendly fixtures must be approved by HYRL through league manager Andy Moore before going ahead.
Please note that friendlies may be scheduled for midweek evenings or on a blank weekend within the two mid-season breaks provided between regular season rounds. All fixtures must be staffed by a level 2 qualified coach, first aider and touchline manager. If a qualified match official is not available the game may be officiated by a level two qualified coach.
