Fundraising lottery to help rugby league development

CASH CONVERSION MONTHLY LOTTERY

Hampshire Youth Rugby League Association and Southampton Spitfires have joined forces to launch Cash Conversion, a monthly lottery to raise funds for the development of rugby league in the region.

With running costs for clubs now at an all time high extra funding is vital to the continuation and growth of the sport in the area.

A record number of people are now playing rugby league in the region which is an amazing achievement, but more needs to be done to generate income and keep the numerous teams and projects going.

Money raised by Cash Conversion membership will be used to benefit the clubs in the Hampshire Youth Rugby League Association and the area's leading community club Southampton Spitfires.

Funds raised are held in a seperate development account.

Membership of Cash Conversion is just £5 per month paid via the Spitfires online payments page. Winners are drawn monthly and announced via the Spitfires website, HYRL website, Facebook and Twitter.

CASH CONVERSION - PROPOSED PRIZE DRAW STRUCTURE**

£5 paid Monthly by each member*
1 x Prize draw made each month
60% of takings paid to the Development Fund
40% of takings given out in prizes

More members means bigger prizes!

1st Prize: 50% of prize fund
2nd Prize: 25% of prize fund
3rd Prize: 25% of prize fund

Example based on 20 members
20 Members = £60 to Develpoment fund / £40 paid out in prizes
1st Prize: £20
2nd Prize: £10
3rd Prize: £10
4th Prize: Free extra entry next month
5th Prize: Free extra entry next month

Example based on 50 members
50 Members = £150 to Develpoment fund / £100 paid out in prizes
1st Prize: £50
2nd Prize: £25
3rd Prize: £25
4th Prize: Free extra entry next month
5th Prize: Free extra entry next month

*payments are taken monthly by direct debit and can be cancelled by the member at any time simply by contacting their bank.[/[b]b]

**The prize structure will be based on 60/40 split in favour of the development fund and will be structured in the best interests of members, based on the membership level at the time of the draw.
