Swindon St George Join HYRL

SWINDON ST GEORGE JOIN HAMPSHIRE YOUTH LEAGUE

Wiltshire's leading rugby league club Swindon St George have become the latest outfit to join the Hampshire Youth Rugby League Association.

St George will enter both an under 12s and under 13s side into the 2015 competition which is set to start in early May.

League Manager Andy Moore expressed his delight at the league's newest addition. "We're delighted to welcome Swindon St George to the league. They are a well run club and will provide quality opposition at both age groups.

When we launched the Hampshire Youth League last year we stated that we wanted the league to act as a catylist for existing rugby league clubs to develop new youth teams so it is very pleasing to see Swindon come on board at both under 12s and under 13s age groups - it's a very exciting time for that club and for the other clubs in the league".

The structure of the league is still taking shape but already the following clubs are confirmed:

2. Coxford Tigers (Southampton)
3. Wessex Bears (Wichester)
4. Surrey Sharks (Guildford)
5. Dorset Dragons (Wimborne)
6. Oxford Cavaliers
7. Bartholomew Bulldogs (Oxford)
